A modern website design for online Hindustani classical music classes, built with warm traditional aesthetics and clean navigation to guide prospective students.
Rekha Kulkarni, a seasoned music artist with over 15 years of experience, needed a dedicated digital platform to showcase her online Hindustani vocal and harmonium classes. Beyond crafting the UI design, I end-to-end developed the website and launched it live for her. The objective was to design and build an intuitive, visually striking website that honours the rich heritage of Indian classical music while offering a seamless user experience for students worldwide.
Cultural Color Palette: Deep maroon, warm gold, and soft cream tones were chosen to evoke tradition, discipline, and warmth—mirroring the spiritual and emotional essence of classical ragas.
Structured Layout: The UI breaks down complex musical subjects (Classical Vocals, Devotional Music, Light Music/Geet) into digestible, clean card layouts for easy navigation.
Typography & Hierarchy: Elegant serif accents combined with readable sans-serif typography establish a professional yet approachable tone.
Development & Deployment: The site was built from the ground up and deployed live to ensure fast performance, responsive design across all screen sizes, and smooth interactions.
