Project Story

Project Overview

Designing a book cover isn't just about making a pretty picture; it’s about giving a reader an instant feel for the story before they even turn page one. For this series, I worked on custom cover designs for three different books that are now published and live. My main focus was making sure each design stood out clearly on digital shelves like Amazon and Google Books, even at small thumbnail sizes.

The Covers & Concepts

How to Stand Out as a Designer

The Concept: Since this book is all about leveling up as a creative, I kept the layout ultra-clean and structured. I used layered geometric waves and a pyramid motif to visually represent growth, elevation, and breaking away from the baseline to stand out in the industry.

Fear of “Chaar Log”

The Concept: This book tackles social anxiety and the deep-rooted fear of judgment. To bring that mood to life, I created a dark, spotlight-driven scene featuring a central figure surrounded by shadowy silhouettes—capturing that exact feeling of being watched and judged by society.

Inside the Lock

The Concept: Designed for a mystery/thriller genre, this cover needed to feel instantly suspenseful. I built the visual around a cracked-open dark door with glowing eyes peering through, giving potential readers an immediate sense of tension and hidden secrets waiting to be unlocked.
